SCARCE SMITH & WESSON PRE-MODEL 29 DA REVOLVER WITH ORIGINAL CASE.SMITH & WESSONPRE-29S169751.44 MAGNUMMODERN; C&RCal. 44 Magnum. High polish blue finish with 6-1/2" ribbed bbl, red ramp & white outline sights, target, trigger & hammer. Mounted with diamond checkered, silver medallion Magnum grips. Accompanied by an orig blue satin lined, black leatherette, hinged lid case containing the revolver and orig screwdriver, cleaning rod & mop. Few of these early 4-screw, pre-29s remain in as new condition. PROVENANCE: Larry Baer Estate Collection. CONDITION: Appears to be new and unfired retaining 99%+ bright high polish blue with bright case colors on trigger, moderately faded on hammer. Grips are crisp with minor diamond point wear. Crisp mechanics. Bright shiny bore. Box has torn hinge material, otherwise is sound with light soil & fading inside. 49428-31 JR (1,500-2,000)
