PROVENANCE: William Henkel Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl retains 98% orig blue finish with only slight wear at muzzle and front sight. Bore is frosty but should clean. Receiver shows 98% matte blue. Floorplate and trigger guard show 98% blue with slight high point wear. Bolt handle shows 90% blue and is bolt is numbered to the gun. Stock is very fine with only slightest handling marks. Stock has checkered pistol grip, ebony forend cap, and steel buttplate with 95% blue remaining. Pistol grip is capped. Stock has Winchester quick-detach sling swivels. A fine Model 70 Super Grade in a great caliber. 49394-9 TEP (2,000-3,000)
