COLLECTOR''S LOT OF BROWNING BSS GRADE 1''S SN 1 & 2! 2 BROWNING BSS 0001A70 / 0002A70 12 Ga MODERN Cal. 12 Ga. 1) SN 0001A70. Grade 1. 28" bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Choked: IMP CYL/FULL. Full length matted rib with steel front bead. Single trigger, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Full knob pistol grip stock with 14-1/4" LOP over Browning black hard plastic buttplate. Buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern. Beavertail forearm with Deeley release, checkered in 2-point pattern on sides. Receiver lightly scroll engraved in typical Grade 1 pattern. Plain walnut stock. With orig shipping box. Weight: 7 lb 7 oz. 2) SN 0002A70. 12 Ga. Grade 1. 28" bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. Choked: MOD/FULL. Full length matted rib with steel front bead. Single trigger, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Full knob pistol grip stock with 14-1/4" LOP over Browning black hard plastic buttplate. Buttstock checkered in classic 2-point pattern. Beavertail forearm with Deeley release, checkered with 2-point pattern on sides. Engraved in standard Grade 1 pattern with light scroll on sides, top and trigger guard bow. Plain walnut stock. With orig shipping box. Weight: 7 lb 4 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. "Andy" Anderson. CONDITION: 1) Excellent, near new. All metal parts retain nearly all their orig blued finish with minute handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are extremely fine with minute handling marks and retain nearly all their orig high gloss finish. Box is very good with tattered corners and scuffs. Mechanics are excellent. Brilliant shiny bores. 2) Extremely fine, near new. Bbls, receiver, trigger guard and forearm iron retain nearly all of their orig blue with minute handling marks. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with a couple of tiny handling marks. Tiny chip at toe of buttplate but otherwise excellent. Mechanics are excellent. Brilliant shiny bore.
