BROWNING BT 99 SINGLE BARREL TRAP WITH EXCEPTIONAL HAND CUT SEMI-RELIEF ENGRAVING AND GOLD INLAY. BROWNING SBT BT 99 37D20468 12 GA MODERN; IVORY Cal. 12 ga. 34" Bbl with high matted rib is choked Lt Mod. Blued action is engraved with exceptionally well cut large open flowing scroll similar to that found on Midas grade O/Us. Nicely detailed game birds; grouse on left, and pheasant on right, are flush gold inlaid. "ATA" logo is gold inlaid on bottom of action. Nicely flame figured claro long tang square knob stock with Midas style checkering is fitted with brown trap pad. Flared beavertail forend has Deeley type release. Weight: 8 lbs 8 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Excellent, showing light use, some high edge silvering of metal parts, and trigger guard tang considerably silvered. There are a few light marks in wood. Mechanically excellent. Mid-bead is "certifiable pre-ban ivory", front bead is synthetic. 49503-23 MGM338 (2,500-4,500)
