BEAUTIFUL PARKER $100 GRADE LIFTER.PARKER$100.373812 Ga12 Ga. 28" Damascus bbls. 2-5/8" chambers. Choked: CYL/CYL. Full length Damascus ribs marked "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDEN CON DAMASCUS STEEL" with brass bead front sight. Double triggers, extractors, no safety. Capped full pistol grip stock with 13-3/8" LOP over full steel high polish blued buttplate. Buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with beautiful grain in butt. Splinter forearm with Deeley release, which is likely a later factory replacement, checkered in typical G grade pattern. Receiver lightly scroll engraved on lockplate. Bottom of frame also lightly scroll engraved and marked "PATENTED NOV 13 1866". Weight: 8 lb 3 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. "Andy" Anderson. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Has likely been modified by Parker Bros during its early period of use. Bbls retain 95% bold orig contrast Damascus pattern, likely having been shortened by Parker Bros to 28". Receiver retains approx 40% orig case color, particularly strong on lockplate, toning on bottom and on top. Trigger guard bow retains approx 75% of what could be its orig blue, starting to tone at tang. Forend iron has toned. Buttstock and forearm retain virtually all of their factory hand rubbed oil finish. Steel buttplate retains approx 75% of the orig high polished blue, starting to tone at heel. Mechanics are excellent. Bores are bright and shiny with light frosting. Overall a beautiful pin lifter Parker hammer gun. 49531-55 JSL111 (2,500-4,000)
