Full length low profile ventilated rib with twin "certifiable pre-ban ivory" beads, bbls marked "L.C. SMITH CROWN GRADE" / "MADE TO ORDER BY THE HUNTER ARMS CO. INC FULTON, NY". Hunter One single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Capped pistol grip buttstock with 14" LOP over Hawkins ventilated pad. Buttstock checkered in 2-point pattern with arrows towards comb. Beavertail forearm beautifully checkered with schnable tip and banjo roll type release. Engraved in typical Crown pattern with Setter and Pointer in game scene surrounded by scroll on left and 2 Pointers in game scene surrounded by rose and scroll on right. Bottom of frame and trigger guard lightly scroll and floral engraved. Gold crown in top lever with light scroll and rose bouquet on tops of frame. Weight: 8 lb 15 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. "Andy" Anderson. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 95% orig bbl blue with light scratches and handling marks. Receiver retains 40% orig case color, starting to tone on bottom of frame. Trigger guard retains approx 90% orig high polished blue. Buttstock and forearm retain nearly all their orig hand rubbed finish, minor loss on forearm on right side at receiver, otherwise stocks are excellent and checkering sharp. Mechanics are excellent.
