BEAUTIFUL HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION ITHACA 4E 20 GA FLUES.ITHACA4E33004720 GaMODERN; C&R; IVORYCal. 20 Ga. 26" bbls. 2-1/2" chambers. Choked: CYL/IMP MOD. Full length matted rib with twin "certifiable pre-ban ivory" beads. Gold plated double triggers, automatic ejectors, automatic safety. Full pistol grip stock with 14-1/8" LOP over Ithaca Gun Co hard rubber butt. Push button forend release surrounded by an intricate checkering pattern of ribbons and scallops. Ebony forend tip. Buttstock is beautifully checkered with two Fleur-de-lis running through grip and is a fine honey and chocolate colored European walnut. Gold shield in stock. Hard rubber grip cap. Engraved in typical Grade 4 pattern with duck on left side, pheasant on right, encased in acanthus leaf engraving. Bottom of frame with light well defined acanthus leaf engraving. Weight: 6 lb 4 oz. Accompanied by an A&F marked LOM case. PROVENANCE: Letter from noted Author, Walter C. Snyder with photocopy of the original journal entry identifying this gun. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain nearly all of their factory orig rust blue. Receiver retains approx 80-85% bright orig case colors starting to tone on bottom. Trigger guard and top lever retain nearly all of their orig blue. Checkering is sharp. Forend and buttstock retain nearly all of a hand rubbed restored finish. Mechanics are excellent, ejectors slightly out of time. Bores are bright and shiny. Case is very good. 49290-3 JSL79 (5,000-8,000)
