GORGEOUS ITHACA $5000 GRADE SBT.ITHACA$5000 GRADE24040570112 GaMODERNCal. 12 Ga. 34" bbl. 2-3/4" chamber. Choke: FULL. Full matted ventilated rib with white plastic mid and front beads. Frame marked "$5000.00 Grade". Checkered gold plated trigger, automatic ejector, no safety. Capped full pistol grip, Monte Carlo stock with 14-5/8" LOP over basket weave pattern Pachmayr white lined pad. Trap forend. Full coverage, finely and beautifully engraved with multiple gold inlays. Three gold ducks in marsh scene on left surrounded by well cut beautiful scroll engraving. Gold quail in bottom in wood scene and three gold pheasants on right side. Top tang and top lever fully engraved and stippled. Top of frame shows extremely fine stippling with some scroll engraving towards right and left side. Both sides of bbl at breech end fully scroll engraved with "Ithaca Gun Co." engraved in a beautiful ribbon. Buttstock is beautiful high contrast American walnut and is finely checkered through the grip with scalloped pattern at grip cap. Forend with about 75% checkering coverage. Weight: 8 lb 12 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new. Showing very little evidence of use. Bbl, frame and forend show virtually all of their orig finish with evidence of test firing only. Buttstock and forend near mint with light handling marks. Checkering is sharp. Mechanics are excellent. Bore is bright and shiny. Top lever is right of center, indicating this is likely a nearly unfired gun. 49503-40 JSL61 (6,000-10,000)
