GORGEOUS HIGH CONDITION ITHACA GRADE 7E KNICK MODEL SBT.ITHACAGRADE 740365912 GaMODERN; C&R; IVORYCal. 12 Ga. 32" bbl. 2-3/4" chamber. Choke: FULL. Full length matted ventilated rib with "certifiable pre-ban ivory" center bead and red plastic front bead. Checkered gold plated single trigger, auto ejector, no safety. Capped full pistol grip stock with 14-3/8 LOP over Ithaca Gun Co. Sunburst pad. Receiver is fully and finely engraved and gold inlaid with gold ducks in marsh scene on left, gold pheasants on right, all surrounded by acanthus and foliate scroll. Bottom of frame with two-tone gold inlaid eagle, marked "Made in USA". Gold woodcock engraved on trigger guard surrounded by scroll. Checkering pattern is extremely fine with double Fleur-de-lis pattern extending towards comb and forend with about 80% checkering coverage with Fleur-de-lis pattern. Stock is beautiful flame grain American walnut with gold shield showing initials "HEA". Weight: 8 lb 10 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Receiver retains 80-85% orig case color, bright and shiny on sides, mostly hidden by engraving on bottom, though still present. Bbl retains 95-98% plus orig bbl blue. Trigger guard with 85-90% orig bbl blue. Stocks, with minor handling marks, retain about 90% of their orig hand rubbed finish with some flaking at heel and craquelure throughout.
