BEAUTIFUL ITHACA KNICK GRADE 5E SBT. ITHACA GR 5 SBT 404969 12 Ga MODERN; C&R; IVORY Cal. 12 Ga. 32" bbl. 2-3/4" chambers. Choke: FULL. Matted ventilated rib with "certifiable pre-ban ivory" center bead and Ithaca marked florescent plastic front target sight. Automatic ejectors, no safety. Capped full pistol grip stock with 14-3/4" LOP over modern green "Jenkins" recoil pad with three spacers. Beautiful flame grain American walnut stocks, checkered in traditional Grade 5 pattern. Trap forend. Receiver is beautifully engraved in typical Grade 5 style with a two-toned gold inlaid pheasant on left and a gold inlaid woodcock on right. Bottom of receiver with deeply cut American eagle and marked "Made in USA / Ithaca Gun Co., Ithaca, NY". Weight: 8 lb 14 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Receiver retains 95-98% orig case color, just starting to tone. Bbl retains nearly all of the orig bbl blue. Stocks retain virtually all their high gloss finish with a few minor handling marks. Checkering is sharp throughout. Mechanics are excellent. Bore is bright and shiny, showing limited evidence of use. The engraving on this gun is finer than what is often observed on the Grade 5, making this an interesting and beautiful Ithaca SBT! 49503-75 JSL57 (3,000-5,000)
