TONY DESIMONE SINGLE BARREL TRAP BY P & V WITH VERY FINE GOLD INLAID GAME SCENES. PERUGINI & VISINI SBT TS2000 2886 12 GA MODERN Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 34" Bbl with high raised matted rib is choked full. Robust, coin finished action with large under bite locking bolt operated by rearward movement of trigger guard, is engraved with attractive small scroll, as background for flourishes of acanthus and flowers. This fine engraving surrounds oval vignettes of game birds on each side; quail on left, ducks on right. Birds are gold inlaid and all scenes have well rendered Bulino details. Engravers initials "TC" are at the bottom of each large scene. P & V logos are on bbl and action. "TS2000" is engraved on bottom. Very fine feather crotch figured American walnut ebony capped pistol grip Monte Carlo buttstock is fitted with KICKEEZ pad. Matching forend has Anson type release. Checkering on stocks is of fleur-di-lis pattern with uncheckered ribbons. Weight: 9 lbs 12 Oz. LOP: 14-3/4". PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg.
