KRIEGHOFF PR ULM PRIMUS SIDELOCK OVER-UNDER GAME GUN & RIFLE 73015 12X12 GA/12X7X65R MODERN Cal. 12 x 12 ga. and 12 x 7x65R. 28" shotgun ejector bbls are fitted with ventilated rib, and full length mid ribs. 25" Rifle/ shotgun bbls do not engage ejector mechanism, and have no mid ribs. Narrow, matted, solid top rib, is fitted with claw scope bases and folding dual aperture rear sight. Rifle/ shotgun bbls have 11/99 re-proofs for 7 x 65R. (Orig caliber was 5.6 x 57R.) Coin finished Blitz double Kersten action is fitted with ornamental sideplates, and features non-automatic safety, reinforcing bolsters, pin type cocking indicators, and gold-plated double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with near full coverage germanic scrolling acanthus with beaded background. "KRIEGHOFF ULM" is on trigger plate. Trigger guard is of black nylon. Nicely streaked and lightly figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock features slightly hog-backed comb, cheekpiece, skip-line point pattern checkering Shotgun bbls: Bore diameter: top -.719, bottom -.717. Bore restrictions: top -.025 (IMod), bottom -.018 (Lt mod). Wall thickness: top -.038, bottom -.037. Drop at heel: 2-7/8", drop at rear of hogback: 2-1/16", drop at comb: 1-9/16". Weight: 7 lbs 10 oz. LOP: 14-5/16". Rifle/ shotgun Bbls: Bore diameter: top -.722, Bore restrictions: top -.029 (IMod), Drop at heel: approx 3", drop at rear of hogback: approx 2-5/16", drop at comb: approx 1-3/4". Weight with scope: 9 lbs 3 oz. LOP: 14-5/16". Zeiss Diavari-Z 2.5 - 10 x 52 rail scope with three post reticle is in claw mounts. Green patterned vinyl case has Krieghoff label on top, is lined in olive green cloth. PROVENANCE: Factory letter stating replacement value for insurance purposes $45,995.00, if it had detachable sidelocks. CONDITION: Excellent, showing only slight silvering on sharp edges of bbls, with a few light marks. Coin finish of action is excellent. Stocks retain nearly all of what appears to be their orig finish. Mechanically crisp. Set trigger works. Scope is excellent with a few small abrasions in external lacquer. Optics are clear and bright. Case shows some light marks on exterior, handle cracked. Interior cloth soiled from contact with action and bbls. 48836-4 MGM65 (7,500-12,500)
