CHARLES DALY DIAMOND GRADE HAMMER GUN.CHARLES DALYDIAMOND HAMMER158112 GACal. 12 GA. 30" Bernard Steel bbls, 2-3/4" chambers. Choked: MOD/IMP CYL. Full length laminated steel top rib with steel front bead, marked "Charles Daly Extra Fine Damascus Barrels Diamond Quality". Double triggers, extractors, no safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock, checkered in two point pattern with tear drop behind lock plates, 14-3/16" LOP over high grade checkered horn buttplate. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and ebony tip, checkered in three point pattern. Receiver is beautifully and near full coverage scroll and game scene engraved with deer on left, two turkeys on right, setter on trigger guard and all surrounded by perfectly executed scroll engraving. Buttstock is an incredible piece of Burl walnut, with silver oval near toe. WEIGHT: 8 lbs. 6 oz. CONDITION: Excellent as partially restored. Bbls retain 97-99% of a bold contrast restored pattern. Receiver with a hint or two of case color, engraving is sharp. Buttstock and forend retain most of an older professionally restored finish with light handling marks. Mechanics are excellent, bores are very good with scattered light pitting particularly in right bbl. A beautiful eye catching high grade hammer gun. 49417-55 JSL220 (4,000-6,000)
