MIIDA MODEL GRANDEE OU TRAP GUN.MIIDAO/U GRANDEK50754712 GAMODERN; IVORYCal. 12 Ga. Made in Japan, this gun has 30" bbls, 2-3/4" chambers, choked: IMP MOD/MOD. Full length low profile matted ventilated rib with steel center bead and "certifiable pre-ban ivory" front bead. Gold plated single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, non-automatic safety. Ivory capped full pistol grip stock with 14" LOP over Pachmayr waffle pad with small Monte Carlo. Receiver is near full scroll engraved with "MODEL GRANDEE" inlaid in gold on sides. Most of frame with silver colored line work outlining the engraving. Bottom of frame also near full scroll engraved with "MIIDA / MODEL GRANDEE" inlaid in gold. Trap forend. Forend latch appears to be gold plated, though has lightly flaked. Standard 2-point checkering with forearm being 3-point checkered. Weight: 8 lb 10 oz. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new. Has been fired but well taken care of. Bbls, receiver, trigger guard and forend metal retain nearly all of their orig blue. Trigger retains nearly all of its orig gold plate, just starting to tone. Stocks are sound, retain nearly all of a conserved finish with a few handling marks throughout. Mechanics are excellent.
