WILLIAM POWELL BOXLOCK GAME GUN.WILLIAM POWELLBOXLOCK1606512 GAMODERN; C&R12 ga. 31-3/4" bbls. 2-3/4" chambers. A full set of choke tubes accompany this gun. Double triggers, extractors, non automatic safety. Full pistol grip buttstock checkered in 2-pt pattern with 14-15/16" LOP over large 1" darkened wood checkered butt extension. Silver oval in stock. Splinter forend with Curtis push button release checkered in 3-pt pattern. Frame is nicely border engraved and marked "William Powell & Son" on both right and left side. Floor plate is blued and also border engraved. WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 12 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine as refurbished. Bbls retain most of a restored rust blued finish with a couple of light handling marks. Receiver and forend iron retain most of their professionally restored case colors. Top lever and trigger guard retain most of their restored blued finish, trigger guard starting to tone at tang. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain most of their custom restored finishes with a few light scratches and handling marks. Bores are bright and shiny.
