ALEXANDER HENRY HAMMER GUN.ALEX HENRYHAMMERGUN121412 GACal. 12 Ga. 30" laminated steel bbls. 2-7/8" chambers. Choked: CYL/CYL. Full length laminated steel top rib with brass front bead, marked "ALEX HENRY 12 SOUTH ST ANDREW STREET EDINBURGH". Double triggers, extractors, no safety. Jones underlever opener. Beautifully figured straight grip walnut stock with 14-1/2" LOP over modern Decelerator pad. Buttstock checkered in 3-point pattern with gold shield on bottom. Splinter forearm near fully checkered with wedge fastener and fully engraved steel tip. Receiver is nicely scroll engraved. Both lockplates marked "ALEX HENRY" in well executed banner. Bottom of frame nicely scroll engraved, scallops with leaf pattern. Opener engraved in scroll and geometric pattern. Trigger guard is nicely scroll engraved. Top of frame and top tang fully scroll engraved. Weight: 6 lb 11 oz. PROVENANCE: The Estate of B.E. "Andy" Anderson. CONDITION: Very good, as refurbished. Bbls retain nearly all of their restored laminated pattern with a couple of minor pings. Buttstock and forearm retain nearly all of their professionally refurbished finish, with minute losses near trigger guard and an old repair at wrist. Frame has toned. Trigger guard has been reblued and retains most of its refurbished finish with a few light scattered pits. Top tang has toned with a few light scattered pits toward back of tang, though overall very good. Mechanics are very good. Bores are very good with scattered light pits. 49531-31 JSL150 (1,250-2,250)
