EARLY 20 GAUGE BROWNING PIGEON GRADE SUPERPOSED. BROWNING SUPERPOSED PIGEON 26145V2 20 GA MODERN Cal. 20 ga. 3″ Chambers. 26-3/8" Bbls are marked for skeet and skeet, with matted, ventilated rib and Browning St. Louis and Montreal addresses. Coin finished action is engraved in usual "Pigeon" style, with pairs of pigeons flying through light scroll background on sides, with rose bouquets on bottom. Top of action is relief carved with well cut oak leaves and acorns. Trigger guard is scroll engraved. Smoky marbled and nicely figured European walnut long tang round knob buttstock measures 14-1/16″ over Browning open sided pad, and features point pattern checkering with line borders at grip. Forend matches very well. Bore diameter: top -.613, bottom -.608. Bore restrictions: top: -004 (skeet), bottom: -002 (skeet). Drop at heel: 2-3/8″, drop at comb: 1-9/16″. Weight: 6 lbs. 4 oz. LOP 14-1/16″. PROVENANCE: Rod Fuller Estate Collection. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining nearly all factory type finishes on wood and metal, with a few light handling and assembly marks on bbl. Coin finish is excellent. Stocks are excellent with one or two minor pings. Gold of trigger has some rubs on sides and some finger wear. Mechanically excellent. 49114-11 MGM180 (5,000-8,000)
