BROWNING PIGEON GRADE SUPERPOSED BROADWAY TRAP.BROWNINGOU PIGEON22898S412 GAMODERNCal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4″ Chambers. 32" Bbls marked for mod and full, with matted, ventilated broadway rib with white Bradley bead and small white mid bead have "BROWNING ARMS CO" on left, with chamber and patent info along with "MADE IN BELGIUM", on right. Coin finished action is engraved in usual "Pigeon" style, with pairs of pigeons flying through light scroll background on sides, with rose bouquets on bottom. Top of action is relief carved with well cut oak leaves and acorns. Trigger guard is scroll engraved. Nicely crotch figured American walnut short tang square knob Monte Carlo buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over black open sided trap pad, and features point pattern checkering with line borders at grip. A scroll engraved silver grip cap has been fitted. Forend matches well and is of flared beavertail type. Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom -.723. Bore restrictions: top: .034 (full), bottom: .018 (mod). Drop at heel: 2-1/8", drop at rear of Monte Carlo: 1-3/8", drop at comb: 1-5/16". Weight: 8 lbs. 10 oz. LOP 14-1/4" CONDITION: Fine, as refurbished. Bbls retain over 90% of what appears to be orig blue with some light flecking. Action retains most of its french gray finish, areas of lacquer considerably worn through and metal turning to gray brown. New stocks retain essentially all of their glossy finish. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Trigger guard tang has been shortened and welded to trigger plate. Trigger works. 49445-3 MGM361 (2,000-3,000)
