AUGUST FRANCOTTE GRADE 25E. FRANCOTTE 25E 87677 12 GA MODERN; IVORY Cal. 12 Ga. 26" bbl. 2-5/8" chamber. "Certifiable pre-ban ivory" front sight with red plastic mid-bead. Full length tapered rib with bbls showing importer name of "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD" on right tube and "US AGENTS NEW YORK" on left tube. Miller single selective trigger, auto ejectors, non-automatic safety. Receiver scroll and floral engraved with bbl bolsters in an oak leaf pattern with side clips. Full pistol grip, 2-point checkering pattern on butt. LOP 14-5/8" over black leather covered pad. Buttstock has 2-1/8" added wood extension. Un-engraved gold shield. Left bore diameter - .724, right - .722. Left choke - .007, right choke - .023. Weight 6 lbs. 7 oz. CONDITION: Very good as partially restored. Bbls retain 80-85% orig bbl blue with light handling marks. Left bore very good. right bbl fine with minor pits in front of chamber area. Receiver retains traces of case color. Trigger guard bow shows about 75% blue, tang turned silver. Stocks retain most of a restored hand rubbed finish. 49322-3 JSL (1,800-2,800)
