RELIEF ENGRAVED AND GOLD INLAID KRIEGHOFF K-32 12 AND 20 GAUGE TWO BARREL SET WITH CASE.KRIEGHOFFOU K 32436512 ga/ 20 gaMODERN27-3/4" 20 ga bbls and 29" 12 ga bbls are both fitted with choke tubes and raised matted ventilated ribs and no side ribs. Krieghoff name, address, and model are on top left of 20 ga bbls and on bottom of mono-bloc of 12 ga. bbls. 12 ga bbls are ported. Blued K 32 action features non-automatic safety and gold-plated sgl selective trigger. Action is engraved in a pattern similar to "San Remo" style with dogs and birds. On this gun subjects are relief gold inlaid and action is blued. Backgrounds are finely detailed. A setter points a pair of flushing pheasant on right, and a hawk attacks a mallard drake on left while hen flushes from pond. Top lever and bottom of action are gold inlaid with a sovereign''s crown, and "Krieghoff" "Model 32" is gold inlaid on bottom within a field of full coverage well cut open shaded scroll. Spectacular flame figured American walnut flared rosewood capped pistol grip buttstock with slight Monte Carlo measures 14-1/8" over black Decelerator pad over 1/4" spacer. Side panels are checkered and checkering at grip has fleur-di-lis intrusions into pattern. Inset gold diamond on bottom of grip cap is engraved "Rambo". Matching large beavertail forend fits both bbl sets and has Deeley type release. 12 ga. BBLS: Drop at heel: 1-3/4"", drop at rear of Monte Carlo: 1-9/16", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Weight: 8 lbs 5 oz. LOP: 14-1/8". 20 ga BBLS: Drop at heel: 1-3/4", drop at rear of Monte Carlo: 1-1/2", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Weight: 8 lbs 4 oz. LOP: 14-1/8". Aluminum Americase is lined in royal blue velvet, has space for gun and both sets of bbls. Case contains an extra 12 ga choke tube (2 in gun), three 20 ga. tubes (2 in gun), and a 12 ga wrench. 20 Bore tubes are slightly extended with knurled ends. PROVENANCE: The Collection of Robert Burg. CONDITION: Excellent, with evidence of relatively light use, with a hint of edge wear and thinning of blue on bottom of action and trigger guard. Stocks have some light handling marks and chips in their orig finish. Bores are excellent. Mechanically fine. Case is fine with some soiling and scuffs.
