FINE BERETTA SO5 TRAP WITH CASE.BERETTAOU SO5C14930B12MODERNCal. 12 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 29-1/2" Mono-bloc bbls are marked with typical Beretta nomenclature, chamber, bbl information, importer, and warning, on top bbl either side of relatively wide, matted, ventilated rib. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with year 2000 Italian nitro proofs, SN, and grade. Coin finished, low profile, Beretta sidelock action features non-automatic safety and non-selective single trigger. Action has minimal engraving, but what is present is of the highest quality, with exceptionally well cut sprays of scroll and double line borders. "P. Beretta" is gold inlaid on bottom. Central portion of trigger guard bow is silver inlaid "TRAP". Nicely marbled and lightly figured European walnut extreme pistol grip high comb buttstock measures 14-7/8" over thin, open sided, Beretta pad. Point pattern checkering and a right hand palm swell are at grip. Nicely matching one piece small beavertail forend has Beretta's Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.722, bottom -.723. Bore restrictions: top -.037 (full), bottom -.032 (full). Drop at heel: 1-5/8", drop at comb: 1-3/16". Weight: 8 lbs 11 oz. LOP: 14-7/8". Gray ABS Beretta embossed case with three combination locks, is lined in checkered gray, blue, and brown velvet. Case contains bags for bbls and action, a set of rosewood handled turnscrews, and compartment in lid contains 3-pc cocobolo and brass cleaning rod with mop, brush, and jag in black leather container. Information paperwork is in pocket. CONDITION: Essentially as new, appears unfired since proof, with only the lightest of handling and assembly marks in wood and metal. Case is excellent.
