SLEEK W. R. SALERI ROUND BODY OVER-UNDER LIGHT GAME GUN WITH REMOVABLE TRIGGER GROUP. W. R. SALERI OVER-UNDER 22 20 GA MODERN Cal. 20 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 30" Mono-bloc bbls fitted with narrow, matted, ventilated rib are engraved "W. R. Saleri Armi Italy" on left side of mono-bloc. Bottom of mono-bloc is stamped with 2002 Italian nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Coin finished, double ogee backed, round bodied, low profile, OU action features removable trigger/ firing group with V-springs, single non-selective trigger, and non-automatic safety. Action is well filed with fillets and beads, and engraved in classic rose and scroll. "W. R. SALERI" is gold inlaid on each side. Engravers name and date are on trigger plate. Beautifully fiddle figured and classically veined European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 14-3/8" over thin black Decelerator pad. Point pattern checkering with line borders is at grip. Matching slim ejector forend has Deeley type release. Bore diameter: top -.622, bottom -.622. Bore restrictions: top -.013 (mod), bottom -.007 (IC). Drop at heel: 2-1/4", drop at comb: 1-1/2". Weight: 6 lbs 8 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". CONDITION: Excellent, near new, with little evidence of having been fired since proof, no cartridge halos on breechface, with only a few of the lightest marks on wood and metal, most from assembly and disassembly.
