SIACE HAMMER DOUBLE RIFLE IN 30-06 WITH CASE.SIACESXS HAMMER4583930-06MODERNCal. 30 - 06. 24" Mono-bloc bbls fitted with quarter rib holding one standing leaf rear sight, and front ramp holding gold bead, are engraved with importers name and address (Danzel Listo), and with Siace name and address on tops. There are inlaid gold wire embellishments at breech ends. Bbl flats are stamped with 2005 Italian nitro proofs and SN. Coin finished top lever action is fitted with bar locks having tall serpentine hammers. Action features non-automatic safety and dbl triggers. It is engraved with about 50% coverage well done large trailing scroll in fine stippled background. A portrait of a big horn ram is on bottom. Lockplates are relatively plain, having only geometric borders. Left plate is engraved "Siace di Gelmini", with right lock engraved "Gardone V.T." Single beaded trigger guard has SN at grip. Finely marbled and figured European walnut square knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8" over thin rifle pad. Stock features right hand shadow line cheekpiece, drop points, and point pattern checkering. Matching small beavertail forend has slightly schnabeled tip and Anson release. Drop at heel: approx 2-3/8", drop at comb: approx 1-3/8". Weight: 7 lbs 10 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". Green canvas Emmebi case with tan leather trim, lined in brown velvet has Siace label in lid, and contains green bags for action and bbls, pair of 30-06 snap caps, and a bore snake. CONDITION: Excellent, essentially as new, except for some minor stains on breechface, and a few marks on wood and metal. Mechanically crisp. Case is excellent. 49610-3 MGM341 (4,000-6,000)
