ENGRAVED FERLACH CUSTOM MAUSER BOLT ACTION RIFLE FERLACH CUSTOM MAUSER 653 8X57 JS 49 MODERN; C&R Cal. 8x57 JS. Blue finish and 22-1/2" bbl with full raised rib and open sights. Full length Mannlicher stock with orig 2-pc forestock. 4 power K.Kahles scope. Full coverage engraving is high quality in a Germanic oak leaf motif. Floor plate shows the vignette of an antelope engraved in high relief. Stock has cheek piece on the left side with fine checkering on the pistol grip and forestock. Scope has clean optics. Nice hunting rile in a good caliber. CONDITION: Very good as refinished. The rifle is built on a Mauser 98 military action, barrel shows 90% blue turning a little plum color. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Receiver retains 90% of restored blue finish. 49433-35 TEP (2,500-4,000)
