Brown leather case with stitched leather trim and corners is lined in variegated reddish felt, with space for both sets of bbls. PROVENANCE: PGCA letter stating this gun was completed Sep 26, 1929, listing orig specifications. CONDITION: Excellent as refurbished. Bbls retain essentially all of a fine satin re-black, engraving lightly softened. Action retains approx 90% of a nicely colored re-hardening, most likely done at time when gold inlays were added, again engraving slightly soft. New stocks retain over 95% of their orig finish with some crazing and light marks, and 1/2" shallow chip at right side of top tang corresponding to drag from top lever. (Top lever slightly bent down and needs attention, will not come completely into battery locking bbls.) Bores are excellent. Action is tight, as long as top lever is all the way to the left. Ejectors are in time with slight delay on 26" bbl set. There is a bulge 1" behind muzzle of left bbl of 26" set. Lumps of both sets and forend iron for 30" set, show light rusting. Case is fine. A unique high grade Parker small bore, with only one example listed in THE PARKER STORY with 30" Acme bbls in 28 ga. 49522-1 MGM311 (35,000-55,000)
