.410 PARKER VHE WITH SINGLE TRIGGER AND BEAVERTAIL FOREND.PARKERSXS VHE236576410MODERNCal. .410 ga. 2-1/2" Chambers. 000 Frame. 26" Bbls have slightly raised, concave, matted rib marked with Parker's Meriden CT address and "VULCAN STEEL". Bbl flats are stamped with steel type, Parker proofs, and weight. Left side of lump is stamped with SN. Typical Parker action has all correct numbers and marks on water table. Action features non-automatic safety and Parker sgl selective trigger. Action is engraved in typical "V" style with wiggle borders. Action is not engraved with makers name. "Parker Bros" is stamped on water table. Trigger guard bow has wiggle borders. SN is at grip.Fancy feather crotch figured American walnut ball grip buttstock measures 14-1/4" over skeleton steel buttplate. Stock has point pattern checkering with mullered borders at grip. Vacant silver shield is on toe line. Matching long beavertail ejector forend has typical Parker release. Ejector patent date is on iron. Bore diameter at muzzles: left -.402, right -.399. Wall thickness: left -.028, right -.029. Drop at heel: 2-1/2", drop at comb: 1-3/8". Weight: 6 lbs 2 oz. LOP: 14-1/4". All specifications match those in PARKER GUN IDENTIFICATION AND SERIALIZATION LEDGER. CONDITION: Good, as partially refurbished. Bbls retain approx 60% orig blue, considerably silvered on rib, and thinning overall, with an area of polishing at front portion of bottom rib, where reattached with screws. Action has traces of color where protected, is mostly pewter gray. Trigger guard has traces of blue inside bow. Correctly styled replacement stocks have a number of handling marks in their hand rubbed oil finish. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. Ejectors are in time. Trigger works.
