ULTRA RARE 32 GAUGE WINCHESTER MODEL 21 ENGRAVED IN GRADE "21-6" STYLE AND CARVED IN "21-A" STYLE WITH CASE.WINCHESTERSXS 211787432 GAMODERNCal. 32 ga. 2-3/4" Chambers. 28" bbls fitted with raised, matted, ventilated ribs are marked for IC and mod. Top of left bbl is marked "MODEL 21" and Winchester trademark, and "32 GAUGE 2-3/4"". There are 3" triangles of varying sized scroll at breech ends. Engine turned bbl flats are stamped with matching numbers, and Winchester proofs. Blued flat side action features automatic safety and gold-plated sgl selective trigger. Action is engraved in typical "21-6" style. Fences are carved with oak leaves and acorns. Remainder of action has near coverage of scroll within geometric borders, surrounding vignettes of dogs and birds; a setter on left side, and a pointing pointer on right. Bottom of action depicts a pair of pheasant. Trigger guard bow has a portrait of a dog. Nicely feather crotch figured American walnut steel capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/8" over checkered wood butt. Stock and matching beavertail forend are carved in "21-A" style. Bore diameter at muzzles: left -.510, right -.515. Drop at heel: 2-1/16", drop at comb: 1-3/8". Weight: 7 lbs 5 oz. LOP: 14-3/8". Old leather case is lined in green cloth, has new gold embossed Model 21 label in lid, along with two older Model 21 labels, without any information filled in. Case contains exterior straps. CONDITION: Excellent, essentially as new, with only the lightest of handling marks in all factory quality finishes. Mechanically crisp. Case leather has considerable tape marks, rubs, and scrapes, corners fraying, with some bits missing. Handle missing.
