CUSTOM GOLD INLAID 20 GAUGE MODEL 21 WINCHESTER WITH CASE.WINCHESTERMODEL 21W3159220 GAMODERNCal. 20 ga. 28" Bbls are fitted with raised, matted, ventilated rib engraved "CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER FOR KENNETH KLEES" in milled out portion. Bbls are engraved with 6" triangles of large open scroll over Winchester nomenclature on breech ends, and with 5" triangles at muzzles. Flat side action with non-automatic safety and gold-plated selective single trigger is engraved with 80% coverage large shaded scroll with acanthus highlights, and semi-relief gold inlaid game and dogs; pair of quail on left side of action, and two colored gold setter points a flushing pheasant on right. Another flying quail is on scroll engraved trigger plate. Very fine marbled and burl figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14-3/4" over black leather covered pad, and is carved and checkered in 21-B style. Long beavertail ejector braced forend has inset contrasting wood tip, and typical J-spring and knurled roll release. Bore diameter: left -.613, right -.613. Bore restrictions: Screw chokes. Wall thickness: left -.035, right -.032. Drop at heel: 2-11/16", drop at comb: 1-9/16". Weight: 7 lbs 4 oz. LOP: 14-3/4". Good quality leather case with stitched leather corners is lined in burgundy cloth, and has Winchester label in lid. Case contains gold-plated Winchester marked snap caps and unmarked oil bottle, as well as nine choke tubes, four flush mounted, another two in gun, and five extended. Also included is butt section of stock removed with installation of pad. CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished, with only a few handling marks in wood and metal finish. Bores are excellent. Mechanically excellent. Case leather has a few minor scuffs. Straps and handle are very fine. Interior cloth has some compressions and light soiling. 49417-20 MGM141 (6,500-9,500)
