Made on a pre 1964 barreled action, this well styled dangerous game rifle has 25" bbl with all orig Winchester markings, that has been fitted with sleeved-on sling eye, and streamlined ramp fitted with knurled sight protector, with custom express rear sight and screwed-on island base. Pre '64 action is fitted with Weaver type steel scope bases. Bolt body, extractor, and follower have been engine turned. Bolt knob has three checkered panels. Beautifully marbled and lightly figured classic styled European walnut stock measures 13-1/4" over black Decelerator sporting clays pad. Stock features large, swept, shadow line right hand cheekpiece, steel grip cap, ebony tip, and classic point pattern checkering with mullered borders at grip and forend. Drop at heel: approx 2-1/8", drop at comb: approx 1-13/16". Weight: 9 lbs 3 oz. LOP: 13-1/4". CONDITION: Excellent, retaining essentially all of its fine custom finishes on wood and metal, with a number of light handling marks, mostly on left side of stock. Bore is excellent.
