Signed on base "C. Rungius" SIZE: 16-1/2" h. x 17" w PROVENANCE: From a fine Downeast Maine home. NOTE: Accompanying the bronze are hand-written and typed letters between the artist Carl Rungius and the buyer, dated 1929/30. One letter dated September 15, 1930, discloses the price of $450.00 that was being paid. Also a letter from the General Bronze Corporation indicating shipment of the bronze in 1930. CONDITION: Very good with a wonderful bronze/green patina 1074-1 WAG (125,000-175,000)
