19TH CENTURY NEEDLEWORK BANNER OF AMERICAN SAILING SHIP. This beautiful framed fringed folk art banner measures 39" x 28" showing a multi-masted schooner with American flag and other banners one which reads "ESMIR". Schooner is surrounded by 11 stars of various size and points, from 2" to 4" and 2 light houses in either bottom quadrant both displaying furled American stars and stripes. The wonderful piece of folk art displays beautifully. SIZE: PROVENANCE: From the personal estate collection of John W.
