RARE AND IMPORTANT FIGURAL WINGED ARCHER ARCHITECTURAL ROOF ORNAMENT.Probably French, 19th century. Made of repousse thin sheet steel with zinc rod and ball. Pleasing animated form in weathered old painted surface. Figure with tiara, flowing hair, spread wings and stylized foliate term form lower body. Mounted on museum type modern steel base.
