FINE PAIR OF PAINT DECORATED ARROWBACK SIDE CHAIRS. Probably Maine, circa 1820. Retaining the original paint in overall black and red graining with chrome yellow banding and pin striping. The crest rails whimsically decorated with paired bellflowers and meandering leafage. The arrow splats and stiles leaf decorated and pinstriped above carved saddle seats with bamboo turned splayed legs and box stretches SIZE: 34" h x 17" w x 16" d. Seat height 17".
