HERIZ CARPET.Mid 20th century, North West Persia. The angular poled center medallion in dark indigo and reds with central pale green and ivory within a madder red field of geometric polychrome. Floral design within ivory spandrels, all within a blue-black main border of scrolling floral geometric trelliswork. SIZE: 9' 4" x 12'. CONDITION: Retains good pile and vibrant color. Insect damage evident at 2 corners on back of rug- no pile loss detected. 49118-18 HMG (2,000-3,000)
