Continental, circa 1850. The upper gallery with pierced carving surmounted by a spread wing eagle with back splash, upper shelf and single width drawer above crotch veneered roll. The interior behind rolltop with two doors flanking a center door and pull out leather writing surface. With full width drawer and two drawers below. High grade book match crotch mahogany to the entirety of the front and figured straight grain to sides. Secondary wood is European pine and linden drawer. SIZE: 64-1/2" h x 37" w x 23-1/2" d.
