ORIGINAL WWII MILITARY ART" 1) Pen, ink and gouache in 20" x 26" frame shows Uncle Sam above globe with detonator blowing up Mussolini, Hitler, Hirohito signed by American illustrator George Wachsteter (1911-2004). Wachsteter drew extensively for the New York Times, the New York Herald and the New York Journal American. 2) Illustration of possible insignia signed "E C Thompson '44". Illustration shows a wasp or yellow jacket stinging Hitler in the rear over number "59". "Gee Bee" (probably design for SeaBee unit?). Illustration measures about 10" x 13-1/2" and 19" x 23" frame.
