FINE PAIR OF GERMAN .800 SILVER AND CUT GLASS COVERED WEDDING CHALICES.The identical pair have blue and clear goblet tops having three round cut scenes one of kissing birds, another of cornucopia of flowers, the third with lyre and book. The stems of silver with a 2-1/2" putti holding up the goblet frame, the shaped base fully hallmarked and stamped .800 Germany. Each goblet having a 4-1/2" h silver cover with naturalistic flower finial. SIZE: 14-1/4" h. PROVENANCE: A fine Swamscott, MA, home. CONDITION: Very good. 49339-12 WAG (800-1,200)
