1) Typical Northeast carved ladle-type spoon with 5" bowl measuring about 11" overall with stylized birds' head handle with plumed top. 2) Knife, including blade, measures about 9" long. The 3" blade appears to have been a straight razor or possibly pocket knife blade inserted into well figured burl grip with brass (telegraph) wire wrap to support knife in wood. Knife fits hand so well with the carved recessed thumb rest which terminates into a 1-1/2" carved human face reminiscent of anamorphic Native American carvings found in various American institutions.
