SIOUX PICTORIAL BEADED HIDE VEST AND BONNET.Sinew sewn beads and cotton thread sewn cloth edges with fine multi-color designs of horses, flags and other devices as seen in photos. Vest is 16" tall and 14" across; bonnet is 7" tall by 6" on either side. Along with a modern fur roach 11" l. SIZE: PROVENANCE: Vest: lot 115 Skinners Auctions September 6, 2014. From the personal estate collection of John W. Armiger Jr. CONDITION: Beaded decoration very good to fine overall with some reductions, especially left underarm where several rows of white beads are missing. Red trade cloth trim loose in areas, rawhide ties intact, both beaded pieces solid and supple and will present well. Bonnet is very good to fine overall, intact with lining and chin strap.
