RARE MODEL OF AN H.P. HOOD MILK DELIVERY WAGON.Circa 1930, Schoenhut Toy Co., Philadelphia, PA. Pine model advertising H.P. Hood Company of Charlestown, Massachusetts. Wagon with black, red and green paint; roof and side panel signage which all appear to be hand painted and original. Wooden wheels with pressed paper rims. Wagon comes with original full case of wooden milk bottles. Founded in 1846, the H P Hood Company delivered milk throughout New England in the last half of the 19th Century. Schoenhut designed delivery wagons for various manufacturers. SIZE: 12-1/2" h x 13-1/4" l x 9-1/2" w. CONDITION: One wheel spoke absent as is front yoke.
