EARLY 20TH CENTURY PAINTED MANCHESTER NH TRADE BANNER WITH LEDGER BOOKS.The banner having a gold brocade type edge surrounding a blue field with writing as follows "Dyers Bleechers/And/Wet Finishers./Local 1156/U.T. W of A./Organized Aug. 12th 1918. Manchester, N.H." also incorporating and eight sided clasped hands United Textile Workers of America trademark. The bottom signed by the Union Label Painters Decorators Paperhangers of America. Along with three ledgers including, 1911 division #7 S.O.H Manchester, NH, a records of the Wizard Athletic and Social club of Manchester, NH, and another ledger 1910-1920. SIZE: Banner 40" h x 29" w. CONDITION: Banner is generally good condition, missing minor amounts of gilt. Ledgers as found. 49371-8 WAG (300-500)
