FARM STAND SIGN; "ICE COLD" WATERMELON. Probably 19th Century New England. The pine double-sided sign with old dry painted surfaces depicting a watermelon slice on the conforming board. The reverse depicting the reminiscence of an earlier sign advertising "peaches". Retains old hanging rings and chain. SIZE: 13-3/4 h x 31" l. CONDITION: One side very weathered the reverse with vivid surface of watermelon. Age appropriate surfaces throughout good untouched condition. 49140-16 HMG (800-1,600)
