CHINESE EXPORT PAINTING OF A PLEASURE BOAT.19th century China. Oil on canvas. Two story boat is in a harbor or port under a moonlit sky. Boat has ornately carved pavilion with interior hung vermilion curtains and lanterns. Another boat and a rocky shoreline are in the background. Carved and pierced period frame with a squirrel and grape motif. SIZE: 22-1/2" l x 18" w. CONDITION: Tiny craquelelure throughout the surface, lined, otherwise good. 42260-15 JC (500-700)
