DING YAO MOLDED DRAGON DISH.Probably Ming Dynasty, China. Thinly potted. The shallow rounded dish delicately molded on the interior with a scaled leaping dragon, and covered overall with an even glaze of warm ivory tone below the unglazed rim. A copy of the original receipt from the Peking Cultural Relic Store, 1973 accompanies item. SIZE: 7-3/4" dia. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of James Fould, Potomac, MD.
