BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN VASE.16th/17th century, China. The vase molded in double gourd form with short cylindrical neck and slightly flared top rim. The body painted in a rich underglaze blue depicting running horses surrounded by flames alternated by reserves of blossoming shrubs. The neck decorated with alternating reserves of stands displaying various objects flanked by peaches on branches. SIZE: 12-1/4" h. CONDITION: Base has been drilled. 1069-1 JTC (400-600)
