DING YAO MOLDED FOLIATE DISH.China. The interior molded with a mythical beast among dense floral scrolls, all below a fluted well and flattened foliate rim molded with leafy sprigs, covered overall with a rich ivory tone glaze, the raised foliate rim edge left unglazed. A copy of the original receipt from the Peking Cultural Relic Store, 1973 accompanies item. SIZE: 8-1/2" dia. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of James Fould, Potomac, MD.
