Of waisted cylindrical form, the exterior in underglazed iron red, with lotus flower and vine patterns between scrolling key-fret bands on top and bottom rim, bottom bears six character Daoguang mark. SIZE: 6-1/2" h x 7-5/8" w. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection from a renowned Taiwanese Diplomatic Family - Cai Wanjun (? - 2011), Xu Shaochang (1913–1999), and Ye Gongchao (1904 – 1981).
