CARVED BLACK AND RED LACQUER CHEST.First half 20th century, Korea. With profuse brass mounting along edges. Interior opens to reveal smaller drawers. Lacquered panels depicting auspicious creatures such as bats, dragons and florals. Mounted on raised stand. SIZE: Chest: 38-3/4" h. With stand: 44-1/2" h. CONDITION: Some loose mounting.
