FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN STACKING BOOK BOX.20th century, China. The porcelain molded in the form of a box containing stacking books. The exterior painted with an intricate and continuous pattern executed in raspberry and blue colored enamels and the top of the box having a 3 character mark along with 2 seals on a gilt ground. The underside finished in a coral ground with gilt prunus blossoms surrounding each spur mark. SIZE: 8" l x 4-3/4" w x 5-3/4" t. CONDITION: Very good. 49072-19 JTC (1,500-2,000)
