ROTATING PORCELAIN BRUSH POT.20th century, China. The body of the pot having 2 sections painted with cranes, bats and stylized clouds on a blue sgraffito ground. The top section having the ability to rotate in order to move written characters to coincide with matching characters on bottom. The underside having a 4 character Qianlong mark on a turquoise glazed ground. SIZE: 5" h x 4-1/4" dia. CONDITION: Light wear to the enamels, otherwise very good. 49073-5 JTC (1,500-2,000)
